What is the Silhouette InstaLift™?

A minimally invasive facelift procedure which uses fine biodegradable sutures and tiny bi-directional cones placed deep beneath the skin to lift and tighten. Dr. Wang will use this suturing technique to reposition sagging tissue to a more youthful position. The sutures are inserted through tiny holes. No actual facelift incisions are made. Local anesthesia is used to ensure there is no discomfort during the procedure.

What areas in the face does Silhouette InstaLift™ treat?

This procedure is for the mid-face, cheeks, jowls and some areas in the neck where it can help restore contours and increase volume. This minimally invasive procedure enhances the contours of your face by lifting the layers of your skin for a more youthful look.

How is Silhouette InstaLift™ performed?

This procedure is performed in our office or in our outpatient operating room. It takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Dr. Wang will mark the areas of desired lift, inject local numbing agents to the areas and then gently insert a needle through the tissue and remove it at each bi-directional exit point. The sutures have bidirectional absorbable cones that hold the tissue in place. There will be slight discomfort, comparable to dermal filler or any other injectable procedures.

What is the downtime and what should I expect after my procedure?

There may be some mild redness and swelling for a few days but you can usually get back to your daily normal routine with very little downtime.

How long will I need to wait to see the results and how long does it last?
